Airport to Negombo

Negombo is a city, often called “Little Rome” due to the large number of European-style Catholic churches built by Portuguese colonists, which gave the city a unique European religious and colonial architectural feel, located on the west coast of Sri Lanka.

Near the waterfront, Negombo is a popular destination for tourists to unwind. Negombo Lagoon offers a tranquil and picturesque landscape defined by its coastal and aquatic features. The charm of its scenery lies in the calm lagoon, wetland marshes, and the wide golden-sand beaches that reflect its fishing industry. It is lined with fishermen’s huts and feeds into the Dutch-era Hamilton Canal.

You can easily explore the beach at your own pace or relax at the hotel after the flight.
